The Bendigo Senior Secondary College project is a key redevelopment initiative under the Victorian School Building Authority, aimed at delivering modern, flexible learning environments that support advanced educational programs. The project involves the refurbishment of existing facilities and construction of new spaces to create state-of-the-art classrooms, collaborative learning zones, and specialized areas for senior students. This upgrade enhances the school’s capacity and functionality, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the local community while aligning with VSBA’s vision for innovative and inclusive education.
Bendigo Senior Secondary College, the sole government provider of Year 11 and Year 12 Education in Bendigo, serves over 1,800 students. The site is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, with buildings dating back to the 1870s, reflecting significant historical, architectural and archaeological value in the region.
