The Templestowe Heights Primary School redevelopment was a comprehensive, multi-year modernisation project delivered under the Victorian School Building Authority, transforming the campus into a contemporary, future-focused learning environment. Completed in early 2023, the project included the delivery of a new two-storey STEM and arts centre, refurbishment of existing classrooms, and significant upgrades to learning and outdoor spaces. These works were designed to support contemporary teaching practices, enable a new STEM-focused curriculum, and enhance specialist learning opportunities across the school.
Key elements of the redevelopment included over 1,200m² of new learning space accommodating art, STEM, auditorium and meeting facilities, alongside infrastructure upgrades such as roof, ceiling and lighting replacements, a connecting canopy between buildings, and modern IT and audiovisual integration. External works delivered a new accessible amenities block, a landscaped middle yard with synthetic turf, and a multi-age playground incorporating sensory equipment, collectively increasing school capacity by up to 125 students and supporting long-term growth within the local community.
