The Education Practice Lab at the LTU Bundoora Campus is a flagship facility for the school of education and included a simulation laboratory, two state-of-the-art seminar/classrooms and a spacious, open lobby area designed for circulation and flexible use, including hosting events with industry partners, schools, and other key stakeholders.
The simulation laboratory and teaching rooms were equipped with modern IT, networking, and audiovisual systems, enabling live streaming of classroom and partner activities to and from other La Trobe campus locations, schools, and partner sites.
Stakeholder Involvement including Public Sector Agencies
Key stakeholders included La Trobe University leadership, faculty representatives, user groups, and operational staff, all of whom contributed to the planning and delivery of the facility.
Project Outcomes
The Education Practice Lab at La Trobe’s Bundoora campus delivered a flagship teaching environment that featured a simulation laboratory, two state-of-the-art seminar rooms, and a flexible lobby space designed for circulation, collaboration, and engagement with industry and school partners.
