The Monash Mental Health Hub project involves the upgrade and refurbishment of two existing buildings to establish a modern, community-focused mental health and wellbeing centre. The project brings together consulting, administrative, and specialised mental health services for people of all ages, supported by comprehensive infrastructure improvements including enhanced security systems, upgraded IT and communications networks, HVAC improvements, and essential electrical and plumbing upgrades-all to create a safe, functional, and efficient environment for service delivery.
In parallel with these infrastructure works, significant fitout and remodelling efforts will transform the north and south buildings into contemporary spaces suited to the needs of Monash Health’s Mental Health division. These works will create appropriately configured consulting rooms, administrative areas, group activity spaces, and support facilities, while addressing ageing base-building conditions to ensure long-term operational reliability. The project aims to provide a central, accessible hub that supports improved community access to mental health services and delivers a secure, purpose-built environment aligned with Monash Health’s clinical and operational objectives.
