Centre of Excellence in Paramedicine

about project

The Centre of Excellence in Paramedicine (CoEP) is a major education and simulation-focused redevelopment within Building A at Victoria University’s Sunshine Campus. It will act as a hub for world-leading paramedicine training, embedding immersive simulation environments, practical teaching suites, and digitally enabled learning spaces to elevate both TAFE and Higher Education student outcomes. The design integrates state-of-the-art flagship simulation spaces, digital simulation rooms, practical labs, debriefing spaces, informal learning areas, and student support zones within the existing built environment. The project also includes a fully integrated external simulation Pavilion-designed to replicate genuine paramedicine operating conditions with ambulance bays, triage simulation areas and outdoor training environments. The developed design is shaped by extensive stakeholder consultation, detailed compliance reviews, and coordinated architectural, engineering, landscape, and planning inputs.
